The Pest Control Software Pricing Index

Archived edition. This is the Pest Control Software Pricing Index as published for 2026-08, verified August 12, 2026. The figures below are frozen at that date and are not updated. For current pricing see the live Pricing Index.

The only normalized pricing dataset for pest control software: entry prices, tier ladders, pricing models, and transparency across 9 platforms, verified against each vendor's live pricing page. Headline number: 3 of the 9 major platforms will not tell you their price without a sales call.

Headline findings (re-verified August 2026)

3 of 9 platforms hide their pricing entirely
FieldRoutes, PestPac, and Briostack publish no prices at all; every one of them requires a demo or a sales conversation before a buyer sees a number. All three target commercial and enterprise operators.
Published entry prices span $29.99 to $99 per month, a 3.3x spread
QuoteIQ has the lowest published entry point ($29.99/mo for 1 user) and Pocomos the highest ($99/mo for up to 20 active customers). The median published entry price is $54/mo.
The same capability can cost 6x more depending on vendor
Route optimization is included in GorillaDesk's $49/mo Basic plan (25-stop) but locked behind Housecall Pro's $299/mo MAX tier and QuoteIQ's $299/mo Elite tier.
Three incompatible pricing models make comparison hard
Vendors charge flat per route (GorillaDesk), per user in tiers (Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, Fieldwork), or per active customer (Pocomos, and reportedly FieldRoutes). The same operation can be quoted wildly different totals depending on which model it lands in.
Annual prepay discounts reach 41%
Jobber's Core tier drops from $49/mo to $29/mo prepaid annually, the largest published discount in the index. Most vendors discount 15 to 25% for annual commitment.
Every vendor that publishes pricing also offers a 14-day free trial
All six transparent vendors offer self-serve trials. None of the three quote-only vendors offers a trial; all three offer demos instead. Transparency and self-serve go together.

$0 $50 $100 QuoteIQ $29.99 GorillaDesk $49 Jobber $49 Fieldwork $59 Housecall Pro $79 Pocomos $99 Published monthly entry price (monthly billing) FieldRoutes, PestPac, Briostack: not publicly listed
Published monthly-billing entry prices across the six transparent platforms. Housecall Pro is $59/mo on annual billing. Our compiled data, verified July 6 to August 12, 2026; Jobber and QuoteIQ carry July dates, as noted in the change log.

The transparency gap

A third of the market will not put a number on its own website. FieldRoutes, PestPac, and Briostack all require a demo or sales conversation before a buyer sees a price; none offers a self-serve trial. For FieldRoutes, industry sources report pricing based on active customer count (in the region of $350/mo per 1,000 active customers); we label that figure reported, not verified, because the vendor does not confirm it publicly.

For an operator comparing platforms side by side, this is a real information asymmetry: the transparent vendors can be budgeted for in minutes, while the quote-only vendors require a sales cycle just to reach the first number. It also concentrates in one segment; all three quote-only platforms target commercial and enterprise operations, exactly where multi-year contracts are most common.

Who publishes pricing? (9 platforms, Aug 2026) GorillaDesk Jobber HCP QuoteIQ Fieldwork Pocomos FieldRoutes PestPac Briostack 6 publish pricing 3 quote-only
Pricing transparency across the nine indexed platforms, unchanged since the July baseline. Our compiled data; six of the nine were re-checked in August 2026, and Jobber, QuoteIQ, and Briostack could not be, so they carry their July dates.

Three pricing models, and why quotes vary so much

Flat per route (GorillaDesk). Price tracks the number of routes or schedules, not headcount or customer count. A growing customer list costs nothing extra until it needs another route. Predictable for solo and small-crew operations.

Per-user tiers (Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, Fieldwork). Price steps up by seat count and feature tier. Watch the tier gates rather than the entry price: recurring-job scheduling, route optimization, and integrations frequently sit one or two tiers above entry, which is where the real monthly cost lives.

Active-customer count (Pocomos, and reportedly FieldRoutes). Price tracks the number of active customers, with unlimited users. Cheap for a large crew serving few accounts; cost escalates as the customer base grows, which is precisely when recurring-revenue pest businesses feel it. Pocomos moves from $99/mo (20 customers) to $209/mo (300 customers) on this curve.

These models price the same business differently by design, which is why one operation can receive quotes varying by hundreds of dollars a month for broadly comparable capability. Our comparisons normalize for this; see the situation-scoped verdicts in the reviews library.

Change log

August 2026 (v2). Automated re-check of all nine pricing pages, most recently on August 12, 2026. No published price changed. Every entry price and top published tier in the master table above was still present on the vendor's live pricing page at its stated verification date.

Two things did move, neither of which changes a figure in this Index:

Housecall Pro: a $35 price point left the pricing page
Present on August 5, absent on August 12. It is not a figure this Index publishes (Housecall Pro's entry price of $79, its $59 annual-prepaid equivalent, and its $299 MAX tier were all still on the page), so no row changes. We are confirming by eye what the $35 referred to, and will record it here if it turns out to matter.
Six of nine platforms re-verified; three could not be
Jobber, QuoteIQ, and Briostack block or fail our automated check, so their rows still carry their July verification dates rather than an August one. Their figures are unchanged from v1 and are not re-confirmed for this edition. The per-platform dates in the master table show exactly which is which, and we would rather show a stale date honestly than imply a freshness we did not earn.

July 2026 (v1, baseline). First edition. Baseline prices recorded for all nine platforms as tabled above. From this edition forward, an automated watcher checks every vendor's live pricing page weekly; verified changes are recorded here with dates, so this section becomes the running history of pricing moves in the pest control software market.

Methodology

Every figure in the Index is read from the vendor's live public pricing page and recorded with its verification date; the dates in the master table are per-platform. Where a vendor publishes no price, the Index says so plainly; we never estimate, and clearly label any credible reported figure as reported rather than verified. PestGrade builds none of the tools it covers and assesses from public information, verified user reviews, and vendor documentation, not hands-on use. Our full method, including how we make money without it touching the data, is public: How We Grade. Journalists and researchers: cite freely with attribution and a link; for the underlying longitudinal dataset or a custom cut, contact us.

Between full editions, an automated watcher re-reads each vendor's live pricing page weekly and flags any change in the prices shown. That check confirms a published figure is still on the page; it does not by itself re-confirm which plan tier the figure belongs to, so a flagged change is always verified by eye before anything here is edited. Where a vendor blocks the automated check, we say so rather than carrying a fresh date we did not earn: as of this edition, Jobber, QuoteIQ, and Briostack are verified only to their July dates.

Last verified: August 12, 2026. Per-platform verification dates in the master table; three platforms carry July dates, as noted above.

Frequently asked questions

How often is the Pricing Index updated?
An automated watcher checks every vendor's live pricing page weekly for changes. Detected changes are verified by hand before any number on this page is updated, and a new edition is compiled quarterly with a change log. Every figure carries its verification date.
Which pest control software vendors do not publish pricing?
As of July 2026: FieldRoutes, PestPac, and Briostack. All three require a demo or sales conversation to get a number. The other six platforms publish at least their standard tiers.
What does “not publicly listed” mean in the table?
The vendor does not display that figure anywhere on its public website. We never guess an unlisted price; where a credible reported figure exists we label it as reported, not verified.
Can I cite or republish this data?
Yes. Cite the Index with attribution to PestGrade and a link to this page. For the underlying data or a custom cut, use the contact page.
